Profiles are also presented in PHE's Fingertips. The new profiles provide ease of access to comparative information presented for each Government Office Region, Strategic Clinical Network, clinical commissioning group and upper and lower tier local authorities. The profiles include detailed analysis of mortality data by Underlying Cause of Death and Place of Death and include trend data 2004-2013.
Update 6 July 2015
We have launched new end of life care profiles for clinical commissioning groups (CCGs). These profiles have been updated with data for 2011-2013.
About the profiles
The end of life care profiles present indicators by local authority and now also CCGs to help commissioners and providers understand the end of life care needs of their populations.
They are presented in table, chart and map format using the InstantAtlas mapping tool. They can be used by anyone who wishes to compare the position of their local authority or CCG with others in England and to track that position over time.
The local authority profiles are also available to download in PDF format - one for each top tier Local Authority in England.
